*Avoid going to the National Capital for these 4 days*

    Republic Day is around the corner. Like every year, the parade will take place. The Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police Manish Aggarwal says, the rehearsal of the parade will be held on 17, 18, 20 and 21 January. The Delhi police has issued an advisory to the traffic management agency. The Delhi Police has advised people avoid coming to those areas for four days. The parade will start from Vijay Chowk and pass through Rajpath to India Gate. Due to this, Rajpath-Rafi Marg, Rajpath-Janpath, Rajpath-Mansingh Road and Rajpath-C-Hexagon Road will be closed from 9 am to 12 noon.  Traffic coming from this route will be diverted to other routes.
    *Routes to choose for going North to South*
    The Joint Commissioner said that for the people going from North to South Delhi, during this time Ashram Chowk to Sarai Kale Khan, IP Estate Flyover-Rajghat, Lajpat Rai Marg- Mathura Road-Bhairon Road-Ring Road, Aurobindo Marg-Safdarjung Road- Kamal Atratuk Marg – Kautilya Marg – Sardarpet Marg – Mother Teresa Crescent – RML – Baba Kharak Singh Marg route can be used.
    *Routes to choose for going South, West from East*
    Choose Ring Road to Vande Mataram Marg to go from East to South West Delhi and Central Secretariat to go from South to Connaught Place, Mother Teresa Crescent – Park Street – Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Ring Road to Vande Mataram Marg – Link Road – Panchkuian Road Or, it would be appropriate to use Sardar Patel Marg-11 Murthy-Mother Teresa Crescent-RML Hospital-North Avenue or Baba Kharak Singh Marg from Ring Road.
    People going from East Delhi to West direction can use Ring Road to Bhairon Road-Mathura Road-Subramaniam Bharti Marg- Rajesh Pilot Marg-Prithvi Raj Road-Safdarjung Road-Kamala Ataturk Marg-Panchsheel Marg-Boliver Marg-Vandemataram Marg..Ring Road ISBT-Chandgi Ram Akhara-Mal Road-Azadpur-Ring Road, Ring Road to Bhairon Road-Mathura Road-Lodhi Road-Aurobindo Road- Safdarjung Road-Teen Murti Marg-Mother Teresa Crescent-Park Street-Shankar Road .
    This diversion has been implemented by keeping in mind the on going farmer protest as well as 26 January. Usually, on every Republic Day, these routes are banned for betterment of society. People must avoid choosing these routes to avoid inconvenience. Traffic will be banned from 9 am to 12 noon on Rafi Marg, Janpath and Mansingh Road to facilitate the movement of the parade.
