In a big setback to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Centre on Tuesday sacked nine advisors to the ministers in the Aam Aadmi Party-led government here.

According to ANI, the action was taken on the basis of the recommendations made by the Home Ministry.

Among the ministers whose advisors have been removed from their post include Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.

AAP leaders Aatish Marlena and party spokesperson Raghav Chaddha have also been removed from the post of advisors to the Delhi government

Those removed from their posts have been emplyed with the Delhi Government for the past three years.

Though there is no official confirmation regarding the same, it is being reported that these appointments were not done by the Delhi government following legal pocedure.

The move is likely to trigger a fresh war of words between the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government and the Narendra Modi-led BJP dispensation at the Centre.
