CISF personnel cleans Mumbai's JUHU Beach as a part of Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign

A team of CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) personnel participated in a cleanliness drive as an implementation of swachh Bharat mission. The team consisted of total of 200 CISF personnel. The CISF west sector organized a beach cleanliness drive at Girgaon choupati, Mumbai.

The cleanliness drive was organized under Swachatta Pakhwada. It is the flagship programme under PM Swachh Bharat mission. Cleanliness is a serious matter of concern in India.  Swachh Bharat mission was launched in view to have a quick progress to our aim of a cleaner India.

It is always good to have such campaigns and drives as it spreads a good message and appeals to common citizen to support the noble cause of making our surroundings a better place to live by making it cleaner.

This is not the first time CISF has conducted such drive, it has been quite consistent with conducting cleanliness drives. Couple of months back similar drive was conducted on Juhu beach. It was a one and a half our long exercise and back then they (A team of 200 CISF personnel) were accompanied by the CISF DIG and chief of aviation security group at Mumbai airport, KN Tripathi.

They urged morning joggers and other people to maintain cleanliness and promoted campaign by distributing pamphlets.
