PM Modi took to Twitter to thank people for their victory “I bow to the people of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh for their affection and trust in BJP. I assure them that we will leave no stone unturned in furthering the development journey of these states and serve the people tirelessly”
The government in Himachal Pradesh has been a game of musical chairs with alternate governments from 1993. This victory in Himachal Pradesh extends tally of the number of states with NDA government to 19 and tally of states with BJP government to 14. Punjab is the only state in North India which does not have NDA government. This shows the ultimate dominance of BJP under the leadership of Narendra Modi which has thrived excellently in past couple of years.
